• I feel 'Little Women' is my best book review, because I wrote about not only plot of this story but also my opinion. I think it is important to have own opinions. And also I could write in a simple phrase.

5.0. Additional reflections on your blog writing

• ... I had written my blog regularly, so I feel I type more quickly than before. In addition, writing blog became one of my habits, so I wrote a lot of posts in this semester and I extended my vocabulary. The more I write my blog, the more I feel fun to write sentences in English. And also, I feel my English skills up through this class.

6.0. Suggestions for your peers and successors

• ...I will suggestion for my successors. It is very important to write blog regularly. Perhaps you feel that writing blog is troublesome thing. At first, but I want you to continue to write your blog. The more you write sentence in English, the more your English skills up! And than I think you will become to like writing blog by degree. I think continuation is most important thing when we study English.
• And then I will suggestion for my peers to continue to write diary in English and I would like to improve my English skills more up with them.

Mow

Today, I ate ice cream:) I love it, so I was happy to eat it!!! What kind of ice cream do you like? I chose vanilla with monaca. I ate it for my first time. It tasted really good! I recommend you to eat this! A friend of mine ate ice cream which is annin-dofu taste! It looks very delicious, so next time I am going to chose it! I want to eat as soon as possible:) hahaha!

After taking tests, I went bowling with my friends:) Yui had a free ticket to play bowling, so we went there! We are very good friends, but all of us are busy, so we can't play very often. I was very happy to spend a lot of time with them! They are very funny, so I like spending time with them! Today we did one game and I got 140 score! I was very surprised at my score, because I usually get around 100. It was really high score for me:) yeah~!!!

After bowling, we went shopping and ate crapes:) I had really good time! Next time I want to go to zoo to see gruffs with them and haruka! hahaha! Let's go!!

Book-review2-15

This week, I read ''SALLY'S PHONE'. It is Thursday morning. Sally talks with Andrew who is her boyfriend and has a lot of money on the cellphone. He wants her to meet his new boss, so he ring her. He tell her to wear her blue skirt, because he like this skirt very much. However it is dirty, so she can't were it! On lunchtime, she go shopping to get new skirt with her co worker and get a red skirt. It suits her very much. After shopping, she go to cafe and Paul sit next to her. When he stand up, the red skirt falls on the floor. Then they have different phone; Paul has her phone and Sally has his phone. Finally, they see again and they become good terms. This occurrence change their life!
It is sasy to read this book, so I could read it with fun:)

Last Saturday, I went to my co worker's house for the first time. She is in her 3 years at Sojo university. She lives in Kami Kumamoto, so I went there by train:) First, we went to super market to buy snacks, ingredients of nabe and drinks. She lives by herself, because she is from Fukuoka. After shopping we went to her house and we watched DVDs over eating:) hahaha! She is funny, so I like talking with her very much! When we watched them, her friend came to her house. I saw her for the first time, but I didn't felt so. I was grad to make friends with her. I had really good time with them so much. Thank you very much:)

January 16th

Yesterday was a birth day of my best friend. Happy birthday, Erina:)

She became 20 years old. We have good friends for 4 years, but I feel we have know each other long time ago! hahaha:) She lives in Tokyo, so we can't see very often. Last winter vacation, she came back to Kumamoto for few days, but we couldn't see. And also she is going to go to Canada and study there in spring vacation. I hope she will do a lot of experience and improve her English. In spring vacation, I will study English more harder than usual in Japan! Today, I talked with her on the phone , so I am very happy to know she is fine. I'm looking forward to seeing you someday! I wish you have a happy birthday!

Wedding party

After coming of age party, I attended to my brother's wedding party! I like him and his wife very much, so I was happy to attend their wedding party:) When they were university student, they went to same university and belonged to same tennis club:) His major was Russian, His wife's major was Czech! Wow!! In addiction, Her sister is in her 4 year of same university and her major is Spanish:) Sounds good! I'm interested in foreign languages, so I want them to teach each languages:)

In the wedding party, She wore Kimono and wedding dress. Her dress was white and this dress suit her so much!! She was really beautiful! I took a lot of pictures during the party. They looked so happy and their smile made me happy:) The end of this party, they speeched to their parents. Their speech was really good, so I couldn't refrain from tears! I had really good time:) They live in Tokyo, so I want to see them!! Congratulation!

Coming of age party

January 13Th, I attended the coming of age party! January 12, I stayed at hotel nikko Kumamoto, because I had to go to beauty salon that is in downtown by 5:30 a.m. next day. I stayed this hotel for my first time and I was happy that all of staffs give me some good services!
That day of this party, I got up 4:00a.m. and go to the salon. After that I went to Obiya to wear Kimono.
Coming of age ceremony started from 10:00 a.m. but I have to go there by 8:00a.m, because I had a task of desk:) I couldn't take a lot of pictures because of this, but I saw a lot of my friends, so I was really happy! They became really beautiful and cool, so I didn't know who they were! hahaha:) I like my friends very much! I could talk about a lot of things, so I had really good time! I want to see them soon again:)

Basashi

Today, I wen to Sugano-ya with Yuka. This is a kind of Basashi restaurant and very famous! There are a lot of autographs of TV personality, so I was really surprised about this scene. A friend of mine works part time at this restaurant, so I ate out there. We ordered the menu which consisted 5 or 6 course and cocktails. We ate them and talked a lot! This restaurant has good atmosphere and staffs are very kind, so I like this restaurant very much. And also all of dishes are really delicious:) We were satisfied! I want to go there again!! I had really good time with her. Thank you, Yuka! I'm happy to talk a lot:) Let's go again soon!!!

Book review2-14

I read 'VAMPIRE KILLER'. I don't like horror story, but it is not scary. This story is written manga-style, so I felt it is winding to read. Colin Miller doesn't have job, so he looks for his job so hard. However there are a lot of people who want to get their job, so it is difficult for him to find new job. One day he finds a paper of job offer and he phones the number and goes to interview. There are not any information on the paper, so he doesn't know what he does. After interview, he finds this job is to kill vampire! He wants to get money, so he become a vampire killer. On midnight, he went to a house where vampire lives in with a professor. They go there to kill vampire, but they can't do, but thanks to the sun, he goes out this house safely.

It is easy to read this book. Do you believe vampire? I don't believe and I don't want to see vampire!!!!

Chocolates

Do you like chocolates? I like them very much! When I eat them, I feel very happy:) Chocolates have special power to give someone energy! In the winter vacation, I bought 'Go yen chocolates'. Do you know? I think almost everyone know it:) It is a one of famous chocolates in Japan. When I was a child, I often ate them! This is is why we can buy it 5 yen! It's very cheep and fantastic:) I had not seen them for a long time, so I was glad to get them! It tasted good! I have a lot of % yen chocolates now, so when you want to eat, I will give you:)

Favorite foods in Kumamoto

Mikio Kinoshita
Watermelon: It is a famous vegetable in Kumamoto. Some people mistakes the Watermelon for a kind of fruit. Ueki is the most productive area. It is usually sold in summer, but recently, it pretend to be sold in winter. It tastes very sweet. However, sometime people become troublesome because Watermelon has much seeds inside. Thanks to a new biological technology,
we see a seedless watermelon in a department store these day.

Basashi: It is meats of a horse. This is eaten in many countries, China, Mexico, Italy, etc. It is expensive and people don't buy it very much, but they sometime but it in a celebration. Basashi is resilient food. We usually eat it with soy sauce, ginger, welsh onion, and sometime. Moreover, Tategami is a fatty meat and said the delicious part of Basashi by mavens, and as Reba-sashi and Tan-sashi has no fishy smell, people who don't like something reek of blood can eat them without problems.

Amakusa-daiou: It is the greatest and biggest chicken in Kumamoto. It is bred for food. The average length of an adalt rooster is about 90 centimeters and the weight is about from 6,375 grams to 6,750 grams.　Therefore, other normal chickens is much shorter than Amakusa-daiou. In Showa time, they were exterminated due to a recession, but people are making a effort hard to reintegrate it now. It is very resilient and rich, so it is used by famous chefs at a classy restaurant. It is very expensive.

Nankan fine noogle (Somen in Japanese) and Nankan deep-fried tofu: They are my local special products. I often see them at a super market. Nankan fine noogle is so expensive that local people do not buy it quite often. It costs at least two thousand one hundred yen as a gift and the most expensive one is over ten thousand yen. It is a brand goods and is called "Yuki no Shiraito", I think it is called "Artistic white strings of snow" in English and Hakusyu Kitahara made a thirty-one syllabled verse about it. I have ever eaten it once and I was surprised the resilient texture. Nankan deep-fried tofu is also a popular food in Nankan and Kumamoto Prefecture. The normal is soft and juicy, but Nankan deep-fried tofu is very different from the former. The texture is like a snack. Moreover, it is very juicy when we use it as a ingredient of miso-soup.

Sae Miyagawa

Ikinaridango: It is a kind of sweets in Kunamoto. This name means 'dango which makes with easy' in Kumamoto dialect. This dango is made up chiefly of bean paste and sweet potato. They are unique combination, but bean pastes goes well with sweet potato. It is really delicious and famous in Kumamoto, so I think almost everyone who live in Kumamoto know it and have eaten it at least once. These were sold at 60 yen each at ikkyuu, so please try to eat.

Tiepi-en: It is a famous food in Kumamoto, but some people who lives in Kumamoto don't know it is a special product in Kumamoto. It is a kind of chinese soup. There are a lot of taste of this soup, for example, Kumuchi, soy sause and salt. In this soup, there are a lot of vegetables and harusame which is a kind of noodle and so on in the soup. Each home differ a little in those ingredient. Tiepi-en is really healty. It is one of the populer menu of school lunch in Kumamoto.

Banpeiyu: It is a famous fruit in Kumamoto. It is a kind of citrus fruits. Banpeiyus are a special product of Yastushiro in Kumamoto. It is the most biggest than all cirrus fruits, and it is 20cm across wide, so as big as a volleyball. And also the weight is about 1.5kg~ 2.0kg each. It has some features, for example it has deep skin, good smell and very jusy. Then You can eat　and use peel. I want you to try to get skin of Banpeiyu into the bath, then I think you can have good bath time with good smell. Then it has a lot of Vitamin C, so it is good for beauty.

　　Amakusa cookies: Amakusa cookies are famous souvenir from Kumamoto. They are kind of butter cookies and delicious. This sweets have wide appeal and reasonable. And also Kumamoto kabou which is a famous sweets company in Kumamoto produces Amakusa cookies. In 1966, 5 briges were completed in Amakusam and with the completing these, Amakusa cookies were produced for the first time. This cookie's shape is cross, because Amakusa is a famous place for Christianity, but I think it doesn't look like so. They are salled not only at souvenior shops but also at convenience stores, so we can find them easily.

Tomomi Tsukuda
Ozu sweet potato:Do you know Ozu sweet potatoes? They are very sweet of course and rich in minerals. They don't have any fiber,so it is veyr easy to eat. They are very much for temrura. They are grew on foot of Aso.

Strawberries:Yokoshima is in the North part of Kumamoto, and one of Tamana city. Long time ago, this area was an island floating in the Ariake Sea, but in 1605, Kiyomasa Kato began a policy to reclaim land from the sea. Since then, the area came to large and had a lot of places for Argiculture. Now Yokoshima produces rice, strawberries, tomatoes, and pumpkins. Yokoshima is the best producing strawberries inKumamoto. The strawberries are very sweet and delicious. Yokoshima strawberry marathon is took place once a year. There are many strawberries instead of water at the waterworks. The runners can eat strawberries during they run.

Karashi renkon:Karashi renkon was made for Hosokawa. It is healthy food. Karashi renkon is lotus root with mustard and miso; soybean paste in its hole and it is fried. it is special product in Kumamoto prefecture. Many tourists buy karashi renkon for souvenir. Karashi renkos is necessary for osechi in Kumamoto. It is very mach to sake. It's very spicy. Almost all of the people like this Karashi renkon.

Kumajouchu:Kumajouchu is the famous Kumamoto's alcholic drink. Its ingradients are good rice and delicious water.Rice is productes on foot of Aso. Water is prodused by Mt. Kuma. Kumajouchu is well known all over the world. Recently, kumajouchu company try to make liqueur using fresh fruits whitch producted in Nishiki machi. Gin no tuyu, Hakutake, Shiro, Batugun, Kanata, and so on.

Jindaiko:Jindaiko is popular sweets in Kumamoto. A rice cake is in the sweet bean jelly, and it is wrapped with plastic. It looks like drum, that's why this sweet is named Jindaiko. You should eat them with plastic knife. Many visitors buy them for souvenir. Jindaiko is not so sweet so if someone does not loke sweets can eat them easily.

Good bye party

In the morning, I took a TOEIC class, and after that I worked part time from 2:00 to 9:00. Today was the last day to work at the store for one of my co-workers. This is why we had a small good bye party after working at the staff room. We talked a lot about memories with her over eating cakes, puddings and having coke. I had really good time! She is really kind and cheerful, so I like her very much! I'm really sad that she quit job, but She will work another store which is a chain. She will work at a rival store, but we are good term forever! I will go to the store that she will work at, and I want to see her smile:) Thank you very much!

Ate out lunch

I ate out lunch with my friends. We went a restaurant on the shimo-street. I don't remember the name of it, but I think it is a kind of Yakiniku restaurant. This restaurant has lunch menus which change each days and we can eat lunch set 500yen! It is very reasonable!! Today is Saturday, so we could order chicken curry or Korean soup and croquette set. I don't really like curry, so I ordered another one. My friends ordered curries. It tasted good and we had eaten sufficiently! I want to go there again on Wednesday, because we can eat ...........!!! Let's go together!

Strawberry

I have relative who are farmers, so they grow some fruits, vegetables and so on. These days, they visited to my home and they gave us a lot of strawberry! Do you like strawberries? I like them very much, so I am so happy:) They looks so delicious, don't they? Of cause, taste was so good! Thank you very much!

Book review2-13

I read 'Alissa'.

Alissa likes reading books very much. On day her father's friend has work for her, so she have to go with him. She doesn't want to go, but there aren't any job for her in the city. Alissa went to his house and she works fifteen hours a day. She cooks, cleans and washes everyday. However his wife doesn't like her, so he takes her to a clothes shop in the city. Alissa works there with 5 girls twelve hours a day. One day shop owner gives the girls a little money, so Alissa buys a book. The shop owner finds that Alissa can write and count, so she began to work at the shop. She likes this work very much. One day a tall lady leaves her purse in the shop, so Alissa runs out the street and take this to her. She appreciates her kindness, but shop owner angry with her, because she leaves the shop. The owner says to her that she gives a lot of money, but in fact she doesn't get a lot of money and she wants to go to school. The tall lady listens to this conversation and she take Alissa to her house and Alissa is going to happy:)

I am grad that Alissa is going to be happy:) I think she is kind, so she saw kind parson. It is important to do kindly for parson.

Shopping with Yuka

I went to Fukuoka to do some shopping with my friend, Yuka. We made it at Bus terminal and went there by bus. I wanted to buy some clothes, so I was looking forward to coming of this day:) We did shopping at Tenjin. I was surprised that I saw a lot of people there!! Almost shops is having a clearance sale, so there are a lot of people, but we enjoyed shopping so much:)

Do you know LOFT? This shop was grand opened in the middle of November. There are a lot of kind of sundry goods in this shop and I bought some snacks and present for my friend. After shopping at LOFT, we went to restaurant to eat lunch. I didn't remember this name of restaurant, but dishes were good! I want to go there again! After eating, we began to do shopping! We got about a lot of shops, so I was very tired.

I like Fukuoka , because there are many shops than Kumamoto, so I want to go shopping there again:) I did shopping with fun! Thank you Yuka!! and let's go again!
